We've just been slammed here with absolutely frigid temps and lots of snow & ice. With the Jewish and Christian holidays either here or rapidly approaching, I'm betting not many people here are dreaming of a white anything. But you, dear blog visitor, shall be hit with a week of a Winter Wonderland, because that's what's foremost on the minds of many. This is my back yard late last week. It snowed in the Pacific Northwest of the US this weekend. Where I live, it's not big thing. It happens every year and we're prepared for it. But over in the Portland Metro area, they are paralyzed.
