This is me and my friend Bill Payne. Bill plays keyboards. In fact, he's done tours with Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Bob Segar and Phil Lesh. But he's best known for his own band Little Feat, who played the Aladdin Theater last night. I arrived about an hour or so before soundcheck and Bill got there just before soundcheck. The theater was fairly cold still, but the band heated it up plenty later that night. I'll post some pics of the soundcheck and the show tomorrow and the next day. Portland, Oregon; March, 2012.

Your typical city involved in a typical daydream

Well it appears that the photo below of Bronco Billy's in Sisters, OR, was my 2,000th post for this blog, started almost 8 years ago. Wow! During that time, we've posted photos from the Pacific Northwest of the US, the American Southwest, the Bay Area, New England, Red Rocks, beautiful British Columbia Canada, London UK, Ireland, Paris, and Burgundy France.

And in about a month or so, it looks like I'll go over 70,000 views of the blog. Wow, wow!
Thanks, everyone. Most of the time, I wonder if anyone is out there actually viewing this thing.

Lately, it occurs to me what a long, strange trip it's been.
