One of the most visited sites in the state or Oregon is Multnomah Falls. There are umpteen photos one can find of the gorgeous falls, which we think is the second or third tallest falls in the US. However, one very rarely sees the two pools into which the loser and upper falls, well, fall. We're not exactly sure what model of antique airplane this is, but we think it's a B-17, named Sentimental Journey, and is apparently a member of a group called the Commemorative Air Force. The photo was taken near sundown and the pinkish sky was due to a forest fire many miles away floating smoke between the sun and the lens. Madras, Oregon; August, 2011.

The Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. We personally don't recommend standing where we were when we took this shot. We were very uncomfortable going out to this outcropping. A day or two later, a 9-year-old girl attempted to go out here and fell to her death. Yellowstone National Park; August, 2014.
