The gr8ful grind

Let go of anger; It's an acid that eats away the delicate layers of your happiness

The reverse side has also its reverse side

Photo of the Day: Meanwhile, about a month later and 2,000 miles away from the tree growing out solid rock in Sedona, I took a tram to the top of Stone Mountain, GA, and found another tree growing out of solid rock. October, 2004.

Ted,

I've been away for the cyberworld for a while (due to an experiment in placing more emphasis on the concrete world than on the workings of my own mind—been "chopping wood") but must say upon returning to your blog that it is always a pleasure—in turn inspiring, renewing, refreshing, imbued with wonder and simply a good place to "come home" to.

I see also that you have tested your personality type and I am not much surprised to find that you and I share the same Meyers Brigg tendencies. It is good for me to see such well actualized people who share my type (if you are interested, I also found recently that another INTP is a founder of the seventh principal project http://www.uuaspp.org/sppabout.html.) It is so easy for me to feel there is no place in the "real world" as an INT combination so it's good to see others like you who are integrating and using your assets so well, fully grounded in the concrete realities of the world AND your intuition, thoughts and introversion (I find that the two often seem incompatible-concrete reality and internal reality. It's a dance to find a balance.)

Also, as I just turned 40 this week it is excellent to have you as an example of someone who is vibrantly alive on the other side of that significant age.

I'll resume my own blog soon, but upon visiting yours I wanted to let you know how much I enjoy your regular posts and all that you have to offer.

Thank you, kind friend for this post. It is heartfelt on this side of the screen.

I find that my spiritual practice of following the Dharma really helps me through the Yin and Yang of my personality.
