The winter sun offers excellent lighting possibilities and provides wonderfully long shadows. This is just a pic of the side patio between my house and garage, but it's good lighting, I think. Of course this was taken a couple of weeks ago and the patio is now buried under about 6 inches of snow. November, 2005.
