Believe it or not, this very small houseboat is also a restaurant. I think there are 3 or 4 small tables for 2 inside, with the kitchen in the back and the owner sleeping in the space upstairs. Quadra Island, BC, March, 2006.

That is sooo colourful, also a familiar sight on the waterways of Holland (perhaps not as pretty and colourful as your picture)
