I usually take a few weeks in the Spring of each year for a mediation retreat at Hollyhock Farm in British Columbia. During the summer, this garden at Hollyhock is a riot of color and green and textures and smells. But this is early spring and the sun has just crested the ridgetop in the early morning. If you click on the pic to get the fullsized version, you can see the tulips awakening and the apple tree that has been trained to drift along the fenceline is just coming into bloom.
