The southern Oregon town of Jacksonville has been designated a Nation Historic District. I know it was the first--perhaps only--entire town to be so designated. I walked past this building and could imagine it might have been a bank that Butch and Sundance robbed. When I eventually saw this photo, I could see the plaque on the wall there saying it was the old butcher shop. Still looks like a Butch and Sundance bank to me. It's now a clothing store for tourists. October, 2006.
