My good friends who comprise the band Little Feat did a show last night at the Aladdin Theater. Here's multi-instrumentalist Fred Tackett playing mandolin during sound check a few hours before the show began. It was good to see and interact with them again. It had been far too long. Portland, Oregon; October, 2008.

Hey Ted ... I saw those guys the other night, too! They weren't just good, and it wasn't just "good" to see them again ... they SMOKED. Most of the entire standing-room only crowd -- apparently from lack of exposure for the last 2.5 years (but who is counting) -- thought so, as well. The next night in Seattle, the band was STILL talking about how loud the Portland crowd was. As Paul said, "Guess we stayed away a little TOO long!"
