I have a confession...I can get in and out of the Louvre in 35 minutes even if there is a small line at the security entrance. When we take guests to Paris for only a day trip and don't have much time, we rush in and go straight to the area with the Mona Lisa. Along the way we see Winged Venus (my favorite), peek into the holding hall where all the new pieces are shipped in and out of and also catch Venus de Milo. On the way out we see the rows and rows of gigantic paintings in vivid reds and golds and VOILA! We are done! If you have the time, you could easily spend two days and enjoy every minute but most of our visitors have a long list of things they want to see all over Paris. It looks like you might have really taken your time and took some beautiful photos.
35 minutes on the Louvre? Isn't that against International law????
My first trip to Paris was for about 48 hours and I still spent about three and a half to four hours of that in the Louvre. Ten percent, eh?
