We're not exactly sure what model of antique airplane this is, but we think it's a B-17, named Sentimental Journey, and is apparently a member of a group called the Commemorative Air Force. The photo was taken near sundown and the pinkish sky was due to a forest fire many miles away floating smoke between the sun and the lens. Madras, Oregon; August, 2011.
