There are literally hundreds of photos of the view through Mesa Arch, almost always with the sun arising just over those mountains in the distance., creating a neon glow on the inside of the arch. However, when we were there, there was no sun. In fact, when we first arrived, the fog was so thick you couldn't even see to the other side of the arch. Canyonlands National Park, Utah; May, 2015.
