The unusual lighting makes this photo spectacular. The narrow beam of intense light, makes it look like artificial lighting, but I doubt the lizard would have been basking in it then.
Nice shot...I like the contrast between the fuzzy background and the sharp foreground.
Behind the rock wall is Oak Creek, which is reflecting the rock on the far bank. The sun is being filtered through the trees onto the rock wall, causing splotches of sunlight here and there
