No, this isn't a photo taken through an unbearable humidity in Madras, India. It was taken about a mile from my house in Madras, OR. Although beautiful, the coloring is the result of the smoke from several huge wildfires hundreds of miles apart that drifted into our area. Sept. 1, 2006.
