Let go of anger; It's an acid that eats away the delicate layers of your happiness

The reverse side has also its reverse side

I regularly have to travel to my employer's most far-flung facility, and I usually hafta make a pit stop somewhere to get rid of the coffee I can only rent. On this day, I stopped at a rest stop to expunge that stuff and found 3 antique Henry J. Kaiser autos who were on the road to somewhere stopped and cooling off. Near Chemult, Oregon; June, 2012.

Some rise, some fall, some climb, to get to Terrapin. (Click on the photo to read the sign above the porch steps) Antelope, Oregon; June, 2012.

Incredibly attractive women can be found anywhere in the city, such as when I rounded a corner and found this cutie along the rotunda at the top of Basillica Sacre Coeur. This concludes our week of looking at the Women of Paris here at The Grind. Paris, France, September, 2009.

Thursday, June 14, 2012

Not sure what the problem with this woman was. Perhaps she was fed-up with a boisterous wedding party just out of the photo here at Place de Concorde that was getting set to drive away in a loud and fast procession down the Champs-Elysee. Paris, France; September, 2011.

Living in the fashion capital of the world causes one to be quite aware of one's own sartorial radiance, even if one is simply a sales person, such as this woman working in a hat shop in the Place des Voges. (Click the photo to check out that dress she's almost wearing). Paris, France; September, 2011.

Parisiennes like their leisure and they age well. This woman relaxing on her lunch hour near Les Halles exemplifies both as The Grind continues its look this week of the Women of Paris (NOT a Playboy shoot). Paris, France; September, 2011.

It's still Spring and as the saying goes a young man's fancy turns to…well, ok, even old men's fancy turns there. So this week the Grind is focusing on the Women of Paris, starting with one of the most sought after positions in Paris: the Paris model. This woman was taking a break from modeling the handbag in a photo shoot across the Seine from Notre Dame, and just in front of our bench outside Shakespeare & Co. She's thin as you can see, but she's also almost 6 feet tall. What you don't see is the crew all around her: the photographer with the camera directly plugged in to the MacBook Pro laptop, the lighting guy, the make-up woman, etc. (Click the pic for more detail) Paris, France, September, 2011.

Friday, June 08, 2012

We end this week's theme by standing directly under the city's icon and looking up. The Space Needle, Seattle, Washington; June, 2012.

Thursday, June 07, 2012

Paul Allen's Experience Music Project, a museum dedicated to Rock & Roll, and a building almost impossible to photograph in a way that lets one know what it really looks like. One basically has to walk all the way around the building to get a sense of it. Seattle, Washington; June, 2012.

Wednesday, June 06, 2012

This is a 20+ foot high piece of artwork by the glass artist Dale Chihuli, who has an exhibit going on next the Space Needle right now. (Click on the photo to see the twinkle in the glass) Seattle, Washington; June, 2012.

Tuesday, June 05, 2012

A little more traditional looking building: the backside of Pier 55 along the busy waterfront area. (Click the photo to really get a sense of those clouds) Seattle, Washington; June, 2012.

Monday, June 04, 2012

We're going to spend the week at the Grind up in the Big City in the Pudget Sound area of the US. This pic reminds me of some Art Deco/Steampunk something or other. Seattle, Washington; June, 2012.

Your da Vinci Code moment: the basement of the Louvre. Paris, France; September, 2011.
