IN the last century, when labor unions were more organized, powerful, and much, much larger, it was not uncommon for unions to purchase property and have summer retreats. This building was one of those, where the families use to come during the summer and spend a week or two vacation out of the industrialized city and into the country. The ground on which this building now stands has had a really nice amphitheater constructed and now concerts are given during better weather. It was there we saw the Allman Brothers Band. Bushkill Falls, Pennsylvania; August, 2007.
