During the street dance a couple came out of a restaurant and the fellow asked his girlfriend if she wanted to check out the moviehouse marquee to see what was playing. Of course, his marriage proposal was posted up there.


She sees the sign and they cuddle a little.


She said yes.

Neighborhoods can be great environments. Each year in the HAND neighborhood of Portland (lower SE Division & Clinton streets) has a weekend celebration. This weekend was it, so I traveled to Portland to enjoy and this week I'll be posting photos of the festivities. This first one is of the parade that is held each year.
