If you click on the photo for a larger version, you can almost see how the battle of the Little Big Horn played out . Custer split his forces and refused re-enforcements before heading down to the villages along the tree line to take women, children, and the elderly as human shields. This was a regular tactic of his. However, he severely underestimated the force awaiting him, was forced to retreat up this hill before taking his last stand. His body was found where the marker with black on the headstone lays. August, 2014; Little Big Horn Battlefield, Crow Agency, Montana.

May not even have to mow any lawn. Gulfport, Mississippi; April, 2014.

There's not a lot of advantages to getting up at O'dark-thirty to take someone to catch a plane, but this is one of them: being out just before the sun comes up and the rays get scattered across the sky. One has to quickly pull over into a parking lot and start snapping away. (Click no the photo for a much better gander) Cascade Station, Portland, Oregon; August, 2014.
